GIZMO HISTORY
The GIZMO building was boarded up during Covid:
GIZMO DINO
In 2014 the GIZMO shop was still open in downtown Albuquerque, fronted by the dinosaur that I helped Dennis Liberty make in 2002:
Clay party at Dennis Liberty's studio back in 2002, putting clay on the dinosaur before sending it off to Washington State to be cast. I helped Dennis make the dinosaur:
On August 6, 2006 I paid someone to project my drawings on the side of the GIZMO building:
According to Sheri, originally the GIZMO building was a JC Pennys built in 1949, and closed in 1986.
- I also went to the Arts and Science Roundtable on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the UNM ARTS LAB
