ABQ ARTWALK -- South Valley Studio Tour -- November 2025

Another ABQ ARTWALK in downtown Albuquerque happened on a beautiful warm Friday night, November 7th, 2025:

Julianna also heads the Herstory Collective.  Their most recent project was to wheat paste prints of woman around Albuquerque, and three of those portraits were wheat pasted on the FUSION building that housed her exhibition:

ACE HISTORY

The walls of ACE Barbershop are a kind of history of the art scene in Albuquerque:

We had our first print show at ACE Barbershop in 2012:

Later in 2016 we showed prints from 75 Grados of Mexico City at ACE Barbershop:

SOUTH VALLEY STUDIO TOUR

I visited Barbara Endicott's and Laurence Wellborn's studios during the Albuquerque South Valley Studio Tour on Sunday, November 9, 2025:

Not all was calm in the valley. There were lots of signs in the neighborhood protesting the South Valley Art Tour -- all done in the same red handwriting:

Last year (2024) there was also a protest again the South Valley Studio Tour in Albuquerque:

The Resistance goes back even further...note this sign in the South Valley on the banks of the Rio Grande:
