August 25, 2022

AI (artificial intelligence) super-enhanced one of my drawings from this session, and hung it in a museum:

On August 31st, DALL-E 2 added an "outpainting" feature,
so I expanded the museum to the right

The Museum just gets bigger and bigger

Midjourney takes us to the next room
in the same museum exhibition

Drawn live at North Fourth Art Center in Albuquerque.

I altered the above drawing several times in AI to get the image below:

PRINTMAKING

Julianna Kirwin came back from Oaxaca and lost no time in generating and wheat pasting prints on her studio:

Susan Gonzalez came up from El Paso to make and wheat paste prints with Julianna:

Later that night Cody Kamrowski made prints with the Skateboard Press at the drawing session:

Colin Adams and Rich Hasler made prints during this session:

Second Fake Print

I used DALL-E 2 to create an image to make our second fake print (see the first print created with AI):

Then I laser engraved the image into 6x6 inch linoleum at Quelab in the wee hours of the morning (August 25th):

This is the engrave linoleum all inked up

This is the final relief print
made from an image generated in AI
