GOOGLE has recently come out with IMAGE FX and WHISK, both for free right now (with daily limits). And KREA.AI has come out with a "chat" feature to generate AI images:
IMAGE FX
IMAGE FX uses the
Google's latest "Imagen 3" for text-to-image:
WHISK
The WHISK images all have elaborate prompts -- like the following for the above image:
"A photorealistic image, muted cool tones, slightly grainy texture, bright outdoor lighting casting distinct shadows. A middle-aged man with light skin, dark hair, and a beard, wearing a long coat and breeches, stands in a black and white woodcut-style field. He holds a long staff. A small peccary is near his feet. The man is depicted in realistic detail, contrasting with the black and white woodcut background. The background shows simple houses, indistinct people, and rolling hills under a lightly clouded sky. The ground is uneven, showing patches of grass and bare earth. The overall composition is simple, focusing on the man and the peccary in the foreground. The style is a blend of photorealistic detail for the man and animal and a black and white woodcut style for the background landscape."
On February 5, Google released it's Gemini Studio 2.0 Flash in
GOOGLE AI STUDIO.
KREA AI
On February 8, 2025 (
the day after it came out), I tried the new "
CHAT" feature of
KREA.AI (which I believe is based on DeepSeek). I just uploaded my drawing and chatted with KREA to generate images. This feature is available for free at the moment:
prompt: "make a drawing of a woman using this style"
prompt: "can you apply the style
of the first drawing that I uploaded
to the last drawing that you generated"
The results, not really in my drawing style
The best result,
but still not really in the style of my drawings
prompt: "Can you make that drawing 3D isometric"
Ultimately I talked
KREA.AI into generating the image below, which is nothing like my drawing:
KREA seems to have
completely forgotten my drawing style
And then I further altered the above image:
CHATTING NOT NEW
HOWEVER I am still unable to make
FAKE KRRRL Drawings with these new AI ART programs.
- Meanwhile I still have not been able to pay for Midjourney, and thus have not used that program all this month so far, February 2025.
- UPDATE (February 14, 2025) -- I got back on Midjourney
It is challenging keeping up with the AI ART developments in the early months of 2025.
