The Tuesday Night drawing group of Santa Fe drew together online using Zoom, because of the Covid 19 quarantine. The model was from Colorado.

The colored images on this post were altered with Deep Dream Generator and XnView.

John Tollett posted some of my drawings on his website under "Tuesday Night Blog."  He also massaged a photo of me in Photoshop, and I further altered it in Deep Dream Generator.

When I took my sculpture up to Santa Fe

John Tollett also made a mash-up video with me pretending to be Robert Rauschenberg, maybe because we both went to UT Austin.

I also did an art presentation
during the QueLab Google Meet
on Wednesday, November 18

One of our Desert Triangle Print Carpeta artists, Zeke Peña, was part of the exhibition that opened in the Smithsonian American Art Museum on Friday, November 20th -- ¡Printing the Revolution! The Rise and Impact of Chicano Graphics, 1965 to Now.

The catalog will soon be available on Amazon. I went to a presentation by the curator, Dr E Carmen Ramos,at the El Paso Museum of Art, on March 7, 2020.

Holly Grimm reflected on GPT-3 in a blog post, which includes the Aikphrasis project which I participated in.

Holly also pointed out that Runway ML has a green screen program on their site now, to help change the backgrounds in videos.

Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham imposed another New Mexico lockdown for two weeks, starting Monday, November 15th.  I can no longer go to the coffee houses and drink pour overs, not inside or outside.

November 9, 2020

The Tuesday Night drawing group of Santa Fe drew together online using Zoom, because of the Covid 19 quarantine. The model was from the Washington DC area.

John Tollett's drawings from the same night were a lot different from these.  I think he has a better monitor.

ABQ ART WALK

The weather was very pleasant for the downtown Albuquerque Art Walk on Friday, November 6, 2020.  However not as many venues participated, and the attendance was sparse (especially compared to the crowd the previous month). The presidential election happened that week, Covid was on the rise, so there might have been peripheral factors that affected attendance.

was much sparser than the previous month

I met my tocayo "King Karl" on the Art Walk

Jerry Saltz does not like the Mary Wollstonecraft sculpture in London.

Also note that Deep Dream Generator changed to version 2.1 this week.
