Marigold Parade -- Artwalk -- Eli Levin

The first weekend in November was very active in New Mexico -- with the downtown ABQ ArtWalk (Nov 4th), Dixon Studio Tour (Nov 5-6), and the Marigold Parade in Albuquerque (Nov 6th).

November ABQ ARTWALK

The weekend kicked off on Friday (November 4th) for the downtown Albuquerque ArtWalk.  It was cold so there were not as many visitors as usual, however the artists put on a good show!

had a great show at the OT Circus

Note:  I had seen Joe Turner on the June ArtWalk in 2021, plus he drew next to me during the North 4th Drawing session on October 27th, but I still did not recognize him right away.

I also enjoyed the art of Xavier Rosa -- Redhook Ink -- during the ArtWalk.

Dixon Studio Tour

I drove up almost to Taos, to Apodaca, New Mexico to visit ELI LEVIN and ABBY MATTISON during the Dixon Studio Tour 2022 (November 5th).

HENRY MORALES brought a ton of prints to sell and printed live printmaking at the revived Marigold Parade, held at the Gutierrez-Hubbell House in Albuquerque's South Valley (November 6th):
