Steamroller Printing in Albuquerque

On Friday, September 4, 2020, I documented a steamroller printing event in Albuquerque, even though I did not make a big print myself.

three days before the event

Henry carved with his back to the Sandias,

referencing the mountains in a mirror,

to get a reverse image.

However that image will flip when printed,

so the final masterpiece will be of the correct view

I have been very involved with printmaking in the last five years, running the Desert Triangle Print Carpeta, and supporting the Ambos Lados Print Exchange for example.  Moreover in 2017, I curated a large exhibition of my print collection at the South Broadway Cultural Center in Albuquerque -- Prints by Southwest.
