EXQUISITE TESSELLATION exhibition, ran two tessellation workshops, and printed

At
FUTURE FORGE Makerspace, we passed out stiff foam curvy tessellation tiles, and asked visitors to gouge a design into them with a ball point pen. Then we printed them with a Tortilla Press. 52 people came to make prints at our
Quick Tessellation Workshop:
The idea was to also put the tessellation tiles together and make a big print. However only the University of New Mexico Print Department managed to make a big collaboration tessellation print:

After-party at the Zocalo bar -- and started by making a collaboration print from the curvy foam tiles that visitors designed in the previous workshop at Future Forge:

4 big EXQUISITE TESSELLATION Prints on the second steamroller printing day, from 20 inch wide tessellation linocuts -- by artists from Tucson (3), El Paso, Las Cruces, Albuquerque (4), Taos and Las Vegas, New Mexico:
