Juarez

I crossed over into Ciudad Juarez on May 10, 2027 (the first time I have been in Mexico since 2019) to meet the printmaking professors at UACJ (the University of Ciudad Juarez):

I met three of the printmaking professors at the new "Los Entin-Tan" taller, now in Plaza Cervantina:

Luis Roacho -- Artes Visuales
Eduardo Reyes -- Diseno/Filosofia
Candido Valdez -- Printmaking

Unfortunately I did not get to see Yorch (Jorge Perez), who I believe runs the printmaking studio EnTin-Tan, and will soon locate his panaderia in Plaza Cervantina.  Yorch contributed to our Desert Triangle Print Carpeta print portfolio:

Yorch had a BUCKET EXHIBITIONS show at previous panaderia location, on the street 16 de Septiembre:

I used to buy Papel Amate at MONARCA PADI in Juarez, which apparently has moved.  We like printing on this paper:

TUNEL GRAFICO

We have been invited to show EXQUISITE TESSELLATION Prints in Juarez, as part of the TUNEL GRAFICO exhibition at the CENTRO CULTURAL DE LA FRONTERAS, which is part of UACJ (the University of Juarez):
  • August 8th opening

El Paso

While in El Paso, I left a large tessellation linocut with Manuel Guerra, to carve for the next steamroller event at the Southwest Print Fiesta in October:
