PRINTS

We experimented during the drawing group by laser cutting EVA foam. The portable Laserpecker 2 cut the foam quickly, but not the adhesive backing.  The idea is to ink the cut foam and make prints.

Ellie brought in a pasta maker to make prints, and our 5.5 x 8.5 inch EVA foam sheets fit perfectly in her pasta maker:

and try out the pasta maker for printing




Then we took a picture of one of Wesley Pulkka's drawings, hanging in the gallery, and laser cut that into foam.  The clean lines in Wesley's drawings worked wonderfully:

FIRST FRIDAY

North Fourth Art Center

They had a big turnout for the First Friday ARTSCrawl at the North Fourth Art Center in Albuquerque, and some visitors ever admired our prints:

Remarque Print Workshop

Two out-of-town artists exhibited at Remarque Print Workshop in Albuquerque.  Ramon G Deanda moved from Moriarity to Alpine, Texas to teach at Sul Ross University.
