After the drawing session, Ken, Mark and I went to Hollow Spirits Distillery and started carving more "hat" tessellation linoleums:

OTHER

I went to the free night at the Albuquerque Museum for Third Thursday, June 20th, to see the exhibition -- Making American Artists: Stories from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, 1776-1976:

was hanging in the Albuquerque Museum

While researching the exhibition, I discovered that the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, will be terminating their degree programs next year.  From the director, Eric Pyror:

"Despite our best efforts to address these challenges, we have determined that the only path forward is to wind down our BFA and MFA programs at the end of the 2024-2025 academic year."


All this at the same time that Adobe is putting the clamp on artists:

Quelab is moving next to UNM, and we got a chance to peek at the new building on June 20th:
