CC Collaboration

"Chrislady" in AUGMENTED REALITY

I am collaborating with Chris Cherry -- we are altering each other's drawings from last night (May 4, 2026):

CHRIS to KRRRL

FIRST VOLLEY

Chris Cherry's drawing

I turned Chris' drawing into a sculpture with AI:

KREA Realtime prompt:
"paper sculpture"

I altered Chris' drawing using my tablet:

I turned the altered drawing into a sculpture using AI:

"paper sculpture"

I also doctored the tablet drawing with AI, using an AI model based on my drawings:

AI version of the altered drawing

I then turned that AI drawing above into a sculpture, using AI:

KRRRL to CHRIS

Chris got a head start on May 6th, drawing from two of my drawings, using my drawing style:

Chris drew these from my drawings

Again I altered Chris' drawing with AI, using an AI model based on my drawings:

with a model based on my drawings

I then used AI to turn the above drawings into sculptures:

And again, I turned the AI sculptures into AI drawings, with an AI model based on my drawings:

SECOND VOLLEY

Chris sent me some more digital drawing collaborations on May 18, 2026:

We took the other collaboration all the way into a 3D PRINT:

UPDATE (June 3, 2026): Chris brought the 3D printed sculpture to the FUSION drawing session on June 3rd, and took a photo of it next to the Augmented Reality version:

The first 2D-to-3D attempt

I had a rough time converting the 2D drawing into a 3D object.  After converting with Trellis2 GGUF I opened the GLB file in Paint 3D, and parts of the figure evaporated.  This did not happen with the other  2D-to-3D conversions:
Parts of the 3D figure
seemed to have evaporated
when I opened it up in Paint 3D

I converted the GLB into an STL file, and then back into a GLB.  That convoluted step made everything work right.

3D PRINT

FIRST TRY

Chris attempted to 3D print the file on June 1st, 2026 -- and the print failed:

Animation of the failure

2ND TRY

He then imported it into Zbrush to redo the topology, figuring that it would then print better the next time -- but it failed again:

2nd Failed Print

3RD TRY

The 3rd try is the charm -- it worked with support material on June 2nd:
