GOOGLE AI STUDIO allows one to input and output images now, using the option "Gemini 2.0 Flash Experimental," which is free at the moment:

So I uploaded my abstract drawing and asked Google AI Studio to color it:

prompt:"Can you colorized this image?"

I uploaded this drawing

I then asked Google AI Studio to make variations on the above image, which I could then turn into an animated GIF:

prompt: "Can you make several variations of this image

in sequence that can turn into an animated GIF?"

Great!  So I uploaded one of my figure drawings and asked Google AI Studio to color it:

prompt: "Can you colorize this image?"

I then tried to make several frames for an animated GIF of that figure walking.  In the first result Google AI Studio just put walking legs on my figure (which was a good move), but did not give me any frames to animate:

prompt: "Can you try again to animated this image,

in several sequential frames,

as if it were a figure walking
