De-Quelab

The AT&SF 2969 steam engine passed behind QUELAB as the hackerspace was moving out of their old building at 680 Haines in Albuquerque on September 27, 2024.  It was this train's second trip to the ABQ Rail Yards:

OCTOBER 1st

On October 1st, the day after Quelab was supposed to be out of the old building,  I drove by to find the big roll-up doors open and the building entirely empty.  So I closed the roll-up doors, locked the building up, and put the kibosh on Quelab 2.0:

Moreover the old Quelab neighborhood was always on fire.  If it weren't the dumpsters on fire, it was the building down the street, at 6th and Haines:
