Midjourney Continuity -- Rope Desert Revisited

I wondered if I could get any CONTINUITY with MIDJOURNEY by generating several animations with different starting frames and ending frames, then piecing them all together to make longer videos.

The ending frame of the first video would be the starting frame of the second video...and the ending frame of the second video would be the starting frame of the third video...and on and on and on...

The longer video above was somewhat coherent, but viewing such abrupt morphings wears thin after more than a minute -- so this is not the way they are going to make long feature films in the future.

The abrupt morphing like this
are hard to follow for more than a minute

Note that MIDJOURNEY introduced a video generating feature on June 18th, 2025 (and I experimented right away).  Then a month later they allowed us to generate video from two images (start and end) on July 24, 2025

PREVIOUSLY

Previously in May 2025, I had used Google's VEO 2 to make a similar video with the same AI images -- all posted on ROPE DESERT:

I got free access to Google's VEO 2 in mid April 2025, and used it right away.

In short, I recycled the images from the VEO 2 video to make a Midjourney video -- however I'm not sure that the later video is any better for having more continuity.
