SILVER TESSELLATIONS

We are preparing  to put on THREE EVENTS and an EXQUISITITE TESSELLATION exhibition during the Southwest Print Fiesta weekend:

*****

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 10th
TESSELLATION WORKSHOP
2 - 5 PM

Visitors to FUTURE FORGE Makerspace will use ballpoint pens to make designs on stiff foam tiles -- which we will print individually on a Tortilla Press.  Then we will print many together to make collaborative curvy EXQUISITE TESSELLATION Prints:

We have done this before recently in both Albuquerque and Juarez, Mexico:

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11th
PRINTING AFTER-PARTY
7 - 9 PM

We will be hand printing collaborative EXQUISITE TESSELLATION masterpieces by hand, from selected linocuts El Paso, Tucson and Albuquerque:

We did this last year at the Southwest Print Fiesta 2024:

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 12th
STEAMROLLER PRINTING
11 AM - 2 PM

We will be making big collaborative EXQUISITE TESSELLATION Prints from big (20 inch wide) linocuts -- on 42 x 42 inch paper -- during the second day of steamroller printing:

EXHIBITION

We will also exhibit EXQUISITE TESSELLATION Prints at POWER & LIGHT Press on a moving wall, 96 x 79 inches:

We will be exhibiting EXQUISITE TESSELLATION Prints
on this 96 x 79 inch floating wall

I would like to hang select individual EXQUISITE TESSELLATION linocut prints from TUCSON, EL PASO and ALBUQUERQUE collections (perhaps as many as a bucket/10 of each):

We won't hang all the individual tessellation prints,
like we did in Juarez

I would also like to hang big collaborative EXQUISITE TESSELLATION prints from TUCSON, EL PASO and ALBUQUERQUE collections:

BIG TESSELLATION LINOCUT

Meanwhile I nudged at all our Big EXQUISITE TESSELLATION artists, letting them know that we will need their big linocuts by Sunday, October 12th, 2025, when we print them together with the Steamroller.

On September 25th, 2025,  Adam Berman cut out one of the big "20 Inch Wide" linoleum tessellation pieces on the Rabbit laser cutter at the University of New Mexico Art Department:

now ready to carve
