I got the lenticular sheets on the 23rd of August,
and cut them down quickly to almost business card size
Below is the mock up I made before of what the lenticular card should look like:
The Lenticular image
should look like this animated GIF
Daniel hanging out with the AR Alien Javelina
at Tin Can Alley on Saturday, July 26th
- ACTION PICTURES will make individual lenticular cards for a good price
- PrintShaq will make lenticular business cards for $225, up to four images
PROCESS
First I generated an AI Javelina, and animated it below in Midjourney:
Then I used EzGIF to split the animated GIF into individual frames, and selected two frames that would make an interesting LENTICULAR business card:
I then had to expand the two chosen images into a business card size -- 2 inches high by 3.5 inches wide. I then used Midjourney to "Zoom Out," expanding the image on all sides. I cropped that resulting image online using Red Ketchup to "1024 x 585 pixels" (business card aspect ratio):
Then I pasted the larger images into two different 5x5 inch (300 DPI) JPEGs to upload to the Walgreens Lenticular Photo Print website. The idea is to cut the Lenticular Photo into two Lenticular Business Cards:
I converted the same AI Javelina into a 3D file using tencent/Hunyuan3D-2.1 -- and then created an Augmented Reality experience from that. Unfortunately the Augmented Reality file is 7.5 MB, because the texture files are huge.
With the business card it will be easy to conjure up an ALIEN in different places, not just Roswell. Perhaps people could send me screen shots of the ALIEN JAVELINA from different shops, states, countries...and I could use Midjourney AI to animate those ALIEN JAVELINAS, like I did in the YouTube video below:

EXPAND

Business Card size
Then in the GIMP I pasted the second image over the above one, to make a second "business card sized" image. The goal was to make the javelina look like it was running when tilting the lenticular image:

5x5 inches, second image
Apparently it takes 10 to 14 days to process. Adric actually is ordering this for me. When they come in I will have to cut the business cards out of the 5x5 inch lenticular photos.
NFC
AUGMENTED REALITY
I want to add an AUGMENTED REALITY Javelina to the lenticular business cards using NFC stickers. First I have to generate a 3D Javelina.
Instead I am going to link to the Augmented Reality ALIEN JAVELINA, as that is about 3 MBs, and will be a lot easier and quicker to download.
NOT JUST ROSWELL
Dunkin Donuts in 2024
in Roswell, New Mexico
With the business card it will be easy to conjure up an ALIEN in different places, not just Roswell. Perhaps people could send me screen shots of the ALIEN JAVELINA from different shops, states, countries...and I could use Midjourney AI to animate those ALIEN JAVELINAS, like I did in the YouTube video below:
- This would be like the World Traveling Gnome from the movie Amelia
- Maybe someone has already scooped me with this idea
