July Exhibition Weekend

The second weekend of July 2025 was another big art weekend.

SANTA FE

RAY LARIVE had an opening at FOMA Gallery -- Fear Of Missing Art -- in Santa Fe on Saturday, July 12, 2025:

The Opening

Drawn before Covid

is at Guadalupe Center, 333 Montezuma Ave Unit B,
just off Guadalupe Street

ERIN CURRIER'S exhibition was still up at the Blue Rain Gallery, and I got to see it on the last day:

I also went to see Michael Scott's exhibition at EVOKE:

ALBUQUERQUE

The July 2025  downtown Albuquerque Artwalk was on the second Friday this time (instead of the first Friday) -- on July 11th:

4th near Central was blocked off

KARSTEN CREIGHTNEY and ADAM BERMAN made custom t-shirts for the public in Karsten's studio at 4th and Central.  Karsten is the lithography professor at UNM, and Adam is the new studio manager there:

Adam makes me a t-shirt for $20

Adam sprays "unicorn tears" (bleach) over the printed t-shirt

The bleach turns the black into orange,
but not in the spots masked by the black print images

Outside were the UNM printmaking students selling their prints:
