APRIL 2025 -- Exhibitions

2025 broke open in April with all kinds of art exhibitions in Albuquerque.  I finally met IVA MORRIS at her opening, though I did not post any photos here.  The most significant being the opening of the LIGHT, SPACE AND THE SHAPE OF TIME exhibition at the Albuquerque Museum on April 5, 2025:

AUGUST MUTH

AUGUST MUTH was showing his holograms in this exhibition at the Albuquerque Museum:


Last year I went to August Muth's talk at the UNM ARTSlab on November 14, 2024, where he showed his holograms and explained the process of making them:
 
The hologram photobooths are cushioned
to prevent even the slightess wiggling

LARRY BELL

LARRY BELL is a prominent LIGHT AND SPACE artist, and was prominently featured with his large glass sculpture in the gallery.  He lives in Taos and is one of the five living artists on the cover of the Sgt Peppers album:

ROBIN BROWN

ROBIN BROWN had an opening of her paintings at Ancora Cafe in Albuquerque.  She paints with us at the Edith Bunker on Thursdays:

The downtown Albuquerque First Friday Artwalk happened on March 4, 2025:
