AI ART slowing down

Even Matt Wolfe admits that AI improvements are slowing down.  That is certainly the way it feels to me, as I haven't experienced any substantial jumps in image, 3D or video AI ART programs in the last couple of months (unlike last year).  On the hand, I've also been a little distracted recently, and have not followed AI that closely:

AI ART slowing down

HAIPER apparently is now a paid service, shortly after they introduced Hapier 2.0.  However I think they did award me with 200 credits whenever they switched over.  100 free credits for signing up.

MIDJOURNEY's new editor allows one to upload an image and alter sections, or "re-texturing" the whole image.

KREA now generates images with FLUX for free -- and will also train LORAS (with a paid plan, or everyone just doesn't have access yet?):

VIGGLE. Since last month (October 2024) I noticed a new little box in the upper right hand corner of my Discord server  (where I generate images with Midjourney).  Clicking on this opens up other apps that I can use like Viggle.  So I uploaded an image that I generated in KREA, and animated it with Viggle, inside my Discord server:

Midjourney External Editor now allows one to upload an image, and will both add AI features or "retexture" the image:

AI PROGRAMS

It's no longer the Wild West of AI ART programs, like it was last year in 2023.  There are less substantial innovations, and less free services to experiment with.
