HOLOGRAM
During Hack Night at Quelab (January 25th) Adric and I played with our hologram Looking Glass Portrait displays:
Double the hologram fun,
for the Year-of-the-Rabbit
I made a nice kit to carry around the hologram display:
Everything fit in a bag (top),
all the ingredients (bottom)
The new set up did not work at first, but did eventually. Not sure whether it was the new USB C cord at fault, or the power pack or the Looking Glass Portrait display.
The idea was to be able to carry around the hologram display easily, to quickly show it to people. However if there are problems turning it on, that is going to look too nerdy.
I should considering updating the Looking Glass software too.
LASERPECKER 2
Adric also ordered a power bank battery pack for my Laserpecker 2, as well as a lightning cable Amazon sells the Laserpecker 2, but not the accessories.
I also used the Laserpecker 2 on January 28th, and was having troubles connecting to it with Bluetooth, which was frustrating and nerdy.
When the power bank comes in we can 3D print a holder for it, using the STL file from this website.

Chris Bardey had a print in the exhibition at the New Mexico State University Art Museum in Las Cruces -- Together as through Within -- the opening was on January 20th:
OT Circus had an art market on Saturday, January 28th, in downtown Albuquerque. I bought a t-shirt from Joe Turner, who showed in the gallery last November:
