SWOON

SWOON talked and showed her film-in-progress "REALM of SIBYLANTS" at the Santa Fe Art Institute on May 14th, 2026, sponsored by the Turner Carroll Gallery of Santa Fe:

The talk/premiere was held at the Santa Fe Art Institute:

THE TALK

Swoon talked about when she crashed
 the Venice Biennale in 2009
with boats she made of junk and prints

SWOON felt that her Medea installation
was the most powerful

The venue also hung some of SWOON'S artwork:

The Turner Carroll Gallery had previously shown the prints of SWOON at their Container Gallery in Santa Fe in 2022:

SWOON was featured in Banksy's 2010 film -- EXIT THROUGH THE GIFTSHOP:

I "exhibited" with Swoon in San Francisco in 2008. Well, I put my postage stamp sized portrait on the community board where she wheat pasted her huge skeleton print in the Mission District:

MADA

The SANTA FE ART INSTITUTE and SWOON'S talk was at MADA -- MIDTOWN ARTS AND DESIGN ALLIANCE in Santa Fe:

SHEPARD FAIREY painted a mural there in 2013 before MADA, when the campus was the Santa Fe University of Art and Design:

Ryan Cope was painting a mural in VITAL SPACES on the MADA campus, and invited people to see his progress on May 16, 2026:

That day we also visited the new SKY CINEMA on the MADA campus, which has been open for less than two months.  Gabe gave us a tour of the building, with the Hollywood green screens in the adjacent rooms:

Last June 14th, 2025 we worked with the PRINTERS PLANET and made prints during the MADA SUMMER CELEBRATION:

LENA WALL
