VOXEL CODING
- (YouTube): Gemini 3: Reasoning with voxel art
I generated a javelina in voxels in the Voxel Toy Box, but it just output a json file. I could not find out how to convert a json file into a GLB object -- at first:
I asked for a voxel javelina,
but could not figure out how to convert
the json file into a GLB file
DOWNLOAD Voxleina.GLB (381.08 KB)
- I had to upload and download the GLB result in Blender to get the old Paint 3D to accept it (and that inflated the GLB file from 81 to 382 KB)
I downloaded the program, but it would not work locally in my browser. However Google offered to host it, for a price:

PEPAKURA
I thought the simple Minecraft Voxel shapes would print out nicely in PEPAKURA, to laser cut into paper and make 3D paper sculptures:
I am not sure how PEPAKURA would output the image on the right side
to then cut and reassemble
into a 3D physical paper javelina
So I downloaded PEPAKURA to experiment. I had to first convert the GLB file into an OBJ object. I thought the output (on the right, above) would be a little more straight forward to print out and cut. However I did not pay for PEPAKURA, so perhaps it would not generate the ultimate cuttable file.

I expected to generate something more like the image below, which I hoped might laser cut and reassemble into a 3D paper object:

AI ART
Z Image is a new Chinese image generator, competing with Nano Banana Pro, that can be run locally and use LoRAs.
